1. How much does the 40-hour RBT Course cost?
$39 each week. You may complete the course in 1-week and pay only $39. Or we offer the flexibility to take longer if you would like. Examples below:
1-week: 40-hours of videos completed in 1 week. One payment of $39. Total course cost is $39.
2-weeks: 20-hours of videos completed each week. Two payments of $39. Total course cost is $78.
3-weeks: 13-hours of videos completed each week. Three payments of $39. Total course cost is $117.

2. Does this course meet the NEW 2026 3rd Edition Task List requirements to become a Registered Behavior Technician® with the BACB?
Yes! This 40-hour RBT Course is RBT® Certification Step 1: This training program is based on the RBT Task List (3rd Ed.) and is designed to meet the 40-hour training requirement for RBT certification. The program is offered independent of the BACB®.
3. Does ATCC® offer the Competency Assessment and Background Check with a BCBA?
4. Is there a minimum amount of time I need to take in the course?
5. Is there maximum amount of time I have to take the course?
Yes, there is a BACB Requirement: 180 Days Maximum. This means that the BACB requires that your 40-Hour RBT Training must be completed in no more than a 180-day period.
6. Is there a final exam?
No, there is not a final exam at the end of the 40-hour course. After completing each 90-minute video, you will complete a short multiple choice test.
7. Will I be prepared for the BACB required multiple choice exam at a Pearson Testing Center?
Yes, very much. You will be practicing multiple choice quiz questions that will prepare you for your exam throughout each of the 90-minutes videos. You will also be able to rewatch the videos as many times as you like in order to take notes and review previous content.
