2. Does this course meet the NEW 3rd Edition Task List requirements to become a Registered Behavior Technician® with the BACB® in 2026?
Yes! This 40-hour RBT Course is your first step in RBT® Certification. This training program is based on the RBT Task List (3rd Ed.) and is designed to meet the 2026 40-hour training requirement for RBT® certification. The program is offered independent of the BACB®.
3. Does ATCC® offer the Competency Assessment and Background Check with a BCBA?
4. Is there a minimum amount of time I need to take in the course?
5. Is there maximum amount of time I have to take the course?
Yes, there is a BACB Requirement: 180 Days Maximum. This means that the BACB requires that your 40-Hour RBT Training must be completed in no more than a 180-day period.
6. Is there a final exam in the training course?
No, there is not a final exam required to complete your training and earn your Certificate of Completion. Upon completion of your 40-hour RBT® training, you will immediately download your official 2026 RBT® Certificate of Completion (PDF).
7. Will I be prepared for the BACB® required multiple choice exam at a Pearson Testing Center?
Yes, very much. You will be practicing multiple choice quiz questions that will prepare you for your exam throughout each of the 54 interactive learning videos. You will also be able to rewatch the videos as many times as you like in order to take notes and review previous content.
