  1. Effectively communicate with a supervisor in an ongoing manner.

RBT® Task List (2nd ed.)

The BACB’s Registered Behavior Technician (RBT®) Task List includes the primary tasks that are likely to be performed by behavior technicians with some, but not necessarily all, clients. It is at the discretion of an RBT supervisor to determine any activities outside of this task list that a behavior technician is competent to perform as a behavior technician.

The RBT Task List content serves as the basis for the RBT training requirement and the RBT examination. The Task List is organized into the following primary content areas: Measurement, Assessment, Skill Acquisition, Behavior Reduction, Documentation and Reporting, and Professional Conduct and Scope of Practice.

1-week: 40-hours of videos completed in 1 week. One payment of $29. Total course cost is $29.

2-weeks: 20-hours of videos completed each week. Two payments of $29. Total course cost is $58.

3-weeks: 13-hours of videos completed each week. Three payments of $29. Total course cost is $87. 

2. Does this course meet the NEW 2nd Edition Task List requirements to become a Registered Behavior Technician® with the BACB?

Yes! This 40-hour RBT Course is RBT® Certification Step 1: This training program is based on the RBT Task List (2nd Ed.) and is designed to meet the 40-hour training requirement for RBT certification. The program is offered independent of the BACB®. 

3. Does ATCC offer the Competency Assessment and Background Check with a BCBA?

5. Is there maximum amount of time I have to take the course?

Yes, there is a BACB Requirement: 180 Days Maximum. This means that the BACB requires that your 40-Hour RBT Training must be completed in no more than a 180-day period.

6. Is there a final exam?

No, there is not a final exam at the end of the 40-hour course. After completing each 90-minute video, you will complete a short multiple choice test.

7. Will I be prepared for the BACB required multiple choice exam at a Pearson Testing Center?

Yes, very much. You will be practicing multiple choice quiz questions that will prepare you for your exam throughout each of the 90-minutes videos. You will also be able to rewatch the videos as many times as you like in order to take notes and review previous content.
